RedVPN for Chrome (“the extension”) routes your Chrome browser traffic through a RedVPN proxy server in Frankfurt, Germany, when you choose to connect. This policy explains what is processed.

What we process and why

DataWherePurposeKept
Invite codeOur server stores only a one-way hashAllow sign-in during the private betaUntil used or expired
Device ID (random) and session tokenServer: only a hash of the token. Your browser: the tokenKeep you signed inUntil you sign out, or 90 days without use. A minimal record (random ID, dates) is kept until deleted on request
Temporary proxy credentialsServer: hash only. Browser: session memory onlyLet this browser use the proxy24 hours, replaced on renewal
Your IP addressOur server, in memoryCarry the connection; short-term abuse rate limitingNot written to our application logs. Operating-system logs on the server are kept for at most 2 days
Websites you visit and their contentPasses through the proxyDeliver the traffic you requestNot recorded. Proxy access logging is disabled and the DNS resolver does not log queries

We do not sell data, show ads, or use your data for profiling. We do not collect your name, email address, browsing history or page content through the extension.

Third parties

  • Hosting: EDIS Global (server in Frankfurt, Germany).
  • Exit-IP check: after connecting, the extension asks api.ipify.org which IP address websites see. This request goes through the proxy, so ipify sees the server’s IP address, not yours.
  • Google Chrome Web Store distributes the extension under Google’s own terms.

Your browser

The extension changes Chrome’s proxy setting, WebRTC IP handling policy and network prediction only while connected, and restores them when you disconnect or sign out. It does not read or change web pages.

Your rights (GDPR)

You can ask for access to, deletion or correction of your data, or object to its processing, by writing to contact@azinortech.com. Signing out removes your session from the browser and revokes it on our server. You can lodge a complaint with the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it).

Limitations

RedVPN for Chrome protects Chrome browser traffic only, not other apps or the whole device. It does not make you anonymous: websites can still identify you through cookies, logins and browser fingerprinting.

Changes

We will publish updates on this page and change the version and date above.
